Online Writers Should Evaluate Their Typical Work Day to Improve in 2009

Are you an online article author with a regimented schedule? Are you still constantly missing your article writing goals each week? Do you have problems balancing quality, quantity and creativity? Maybe you ought to think about modifying your typical work day schedule to improve your article writing on all fronts.

In fact, that is what I did and it has greatly improved my writing and helped me increase my article writing productivity as well. You see, there is nothing typical about my daily schedule, in fact I go out of my way to make each day different. I like to think of it like this; "Eat when you are hungry, sleep when you are tired." I read that quote somewhere once and adopted it from then on.

Over the years I've tried various sleep schedules, once for over three years I skipped sleep every third day, meaning I would work on day for 30 plus hours straight and after that marathon, I would sleep for ten-hours the following day. Then I'd get back to a somewhat normal schedule for three days then do it again, and I would do this every other week. Obviously, this is extreme but humor me for a moment, I have a great idea that can help you improve your article writing productivity.

Try this, ditch your current work schedule for one week, go ahead and take care of family matters and necessities but completely change when and where you write. Go seek out new experiences, go eat lunch at a new place, and go meet some new people. Then think about what you have learned and incorporate this into your articles, yes, you might have to get a little creative depending on the area of expertise you write in.

Additionally, find some time to do a marathon article writing session, perhaps sitting down and writing 8-10 articles all at once without stopping. No, it's not easy, but you can do it. Maybe write well into the night or get up before dawn and start. It is amazing what you will be able to accomplish when you break out of your shell. You have to think outside the box to succeed in online article writing and marketing. Please consider this.
